We are now up and running:) I plan to attend the June rally if I don't get thrown out because I don't have a GW:). I learned a long time ago when it is below 45 degrees it is too cold to ride, so I guess I am a fair weather rider. |

They live right across the street from our temporary residence in Pittsburg. We are rebuilding in Joplin, MO, but will be in Pittsburg until at least late 2004. I have had several opportunities to talk about riding with Bob and Mark, and Bob said Marsha and I should try to make one of the rides with the Eastern Kansas Tour Riders Association sometime. | Comments: | Saturday when we rode I ended up getting in a little over 400 miles! From Bethany to Sedalia it turned out to be 165 miles. It was a nice route that Bob Beck picked for me. There was just one surprise and that was the old bridge that crosses the river by Waverly. You see Im not real crazy about heights. That bridge is long narrow and high! I was having a little anxiety but I made it ok. It was a great day and I look forward to the next one when I can join you guys & gals. Chuck |
